I wanted to do pediatrics for years, but those cases are so sad.<BR/><BR/>BCLS was kinda scary, mostly the ones with the choking babies (sick infants freak me out) and the defibrillator. <BR/>Yes, I did CPR on the dummy --- the adult and infant ones were fine, but I had trouble performing CPR properly on the child; I'll have to work on that.<BR/><BR/>Don't feel bad about breaking ribs --- the person who taught it to us was an ICU nurse, and he said that breaking ribs was normal during CPR, and that it's a heck of a lot better to fix the punctured lungs or damaged liver from the broken ribs than have them die from a brain and myocardium deprived of oxygen.XEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02522455400636588309noreply@blogger.com
